Zembrod House is a boutique wallcovering line founded in Lexington Kentucky. We hand paint our papers using the traditional water marbling technique, which we've adapted to a larger scale suitable for wallpaper. Our papers retain the authenticity of antique book paper, but are elevated by the elegance and exuberance of bold organic design and a contemporary color pallet. Because no two sheets are alike, there is an artistic spontaneity and a distinctive fluidity which could never be duplicated by mechanical reproduction. Our papers are genuine in their irregularities. Like the people who make them, they are full of character, eccentricity, and panache.
